Tractor Driver Training
This tractor training course provides tractor driving lessons designed to produce a tractor operator that will have the knowledge, skills, and attributes for all essential areas of the unit standards covered in this course, enabling the individual to be able to drive a tractor effectively and safely in varied terrain.

The course can be customised to incorporate specific company policies and procedures for tractor use. We can provide both NZQA and non-NZQA course delivery. We can also review and advise clients on their SOP’s for tractor use.

The tractor driving course training covers the following knowledge and skills:
- Health and safety considerations
- Describe the legal requirements for tractors and tractor users on both private property and on public roads
- Describe occupational hazards associated with tractor use
- Identify factors that affect tractor stability
- Check and service a tractor and implements before use
- Attach and detach a PTO implement to a tractor
- Drive a wheeled tractor and implement safely over flat terrain
- Drive a tractor on hilly terrain
