DTTS offers a variety of on and off road driver training course options to suit a wide range of clients in a niche core market including 4WD, ATV, quad bikes, side by side vehicles (LUVs), and tractors.  Associated with this core element are items such as load security, trailers, defensive driving both on road and off road, forestry and sand driving, open spaces mowing, as well as chainsaw and scrub bar use.  We also conduct Health and Safety training and training surrounding chemical/agrichemical usage.

Our on and off road driver training can be either NZQA unit standard or non-unit standard based, or a customised course to fit your specific requirements.  Training enquiries are followed up to ensure that the course matches the client’s needs (i.e., making it fit for purpose), and this ensures that the client gets value for money as the course has relevance. Where needed, a pre-course site visit can be conducted or company documentation can be reviewed to best understand the underlying needs for the course and to ensure that the course hits the target in terms of being relevant and fit for purpose.

Nationwide On Site Training

Where possible the course is conducted on your site using your own company vehicles. This makes the training relevant to what your specific staff taskings are.  We can also supply suitable training locations nationwide to run our courses if required.  We can demonstrate modern technology where late model vehicles are involved so as to ensure full understanding of technology and practical application experience.
